Gas leaks in the home or on appliances can be worrying. If you think you might have a gas leak it is vitally important that you phone Transco immediately on 0800 111 999 – they will then be with you within 2 hours.
Upon call-out we can carry out checks on your property’s gas supply pipework and gas appliances to leave you assured that they are safe to use. If at any time a leak is found we will identify and inform you of what the problem is and what work needs to be carried out in order to meet the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998.
With all gas checks and emission testing (CO2) a print out of the results will be issued to you at no extra cost. An example of this can be found on our servicing page

Did you know?
Although an engineer may be Gas Safe registered it does not mean they are qualified to work on all types of gas appliances. Gas Safe divides many of their certifications into different areas (e.g. boilers, pipework and fires), which some engineers will neglect to tell you.
